livestreaming

A lot of what I have been saying in my writing here could be said out loud - more eloquently and more impactfully. I would like to continue livestreaming some conversations with myself, particularly focused on strategies and tools for parents and educators to communicate more effectively with the children in their lives. We are living in a time full of confusion and insecurity. But children do not need to worry about these things. Children need to focus on growing and developing their basic life skills. It is our responsibility as adults in society to work together to shelter the children from the brunt of the fear and pain we are facing. In order to develop healthily, it is necessary for children to feel safe and confident in their skills, and aware of their personal struggles so that they may address them. We don’t need to shelter them from challenges - we need to teach them how to safely face their natural challenges. In my future livestreams, I will give examples of conversations and situations I’ve faced with children and how I addressed them - or how situations could be addressed in an ideal world.

Busy parents, pandemic fears, substance abuse, election madness, monsters under the bed, new siblings, bathroom accidents, death of loved ones and pets - any and all topics are fair game. Feel free to email me with any questions and I will do my best to address them in a livestream!

Sending love your way!

I have no regular schedule yet - I just talk when the mood strikes me, but I’ll record and post all of my streams on YouTube.
